Martine Garcia serves as the Program Director for TRIO Student Support Services at ASU Polytechnic, a grant program awarded by the Department of Education that supports first-generation, low-income, and students with disabilities. With nearly a decade of experience working in Higher Education, Martine seeks to empower first-generation and historically marginalized college students discover and achieve their full potential.

He is a first-generation college graduate, community college transfer student, and ASU Alumnus earning his Associate's Degree from Chandler-Gilbert Community College, Bachelor's Degree in Communication and Organizational Leadership, and Dual Master's Degrees in Legal Studies and Business Management. Martine is also a Faculty Associate in Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College where he teaches service-learning courses on social justice and equity.

As a student, Martine founded the Male Empowerment Network (MEN) Chapter at CGCC and a chapter at ASU. This organization was created to address the graduation and retention rates for minority males in colleges and universities. As a staff member at the Polytechnic campus, Martine was one of the founding members of Poly Sol, a Chicano/Latino collective that seeks to empower Chicano/Latino communities at the Polytechnic campus and the East Valley. In addition, Martine serves as the inaugural advisor for HOLA (Hispanic Organization of Latinx Awareness), ASU Poly's Chicano/Latino student organization, as well as TRIO Devils at Poly an organization of TRIO students that seek to build community for TRIO eligble students.
